When you get to Franklin there's a couple of great Meat n 3's. One is among my favourites. Puckett's Grocery. http://xrl.in/7ga2 Another good option is Dotson's. http://xrl.in/7ga3 DT

Davwud Foodbme Best BBQ in Franklin TN is One Stop Market. http://local.yahoo.com/info-14888528-one-stop-market-franklin;_ylt=ApesrQyHJ38GT_BivU6h2XOHNcIF;_ylv=3?csz=Franklin%2C+TN Google says it's closed. Any word?? DT Last time I was there was about a year ago so don't know current status. Hard to believe since its been there forever. I started going there back in 1983 when I lived in Brentwood. My Daughter currently lives in Franklin. I'll ask her and report back. EDIT: I called One Stop. They are open. They were closed Temporarily but have reopened. Sounds like ownership changed. Will have BBQ available in about 2 weeks.

One of the very best breakfasts that I ever had was in Franklin, Tennessee (1994). I found it thanks to the Sterns' 1992 Roadfood edition. It was at: Dotson's 99 East Main Street Franklin, TN 37064-2249 (615) 794-2805 I remember the waitress asked me with a smile if I wanted leaded or unleaded coffee.

Dotson's sits on the bank of a river and was heavily damaged during the Historic Record Level Floods of May 2010. Not sure if they're back and Operational. Any "Locals" know for sure? You could give them a call before going

I can't attest to whether or not it's still as good and I didn't have the biscuits. I did however declare it blogworthy. http://davwudsfoodcourt.b...re-country-cookin.html Holly gives it his thumbs up too and that was good enough for me to try it. DT
