There's a small nice cafe at French Camp. Go to Lake Tiak O'Khata Restaurant in Louisville, MS. Sonny's has good BBQ in Ackerman.

You don't need to pass through Greenville, MS without stopping at Doe's Steak House for good steaks, fried shrimp, salad, garlic bread and tamales.
Go to Rhoda's in Lake Village for tamales or breakfast.
