Traveling with the Hot Dog Cart. Anyone ever do this?

Anyone ever take the cart on the road for some interstate slinging?

I'm looking to travel around the west and sell dogs and drinks. How difficult do you think this would be as far as dealing with licencing, HD, etc. and finding a spot to sell? Any other barriers to entry?

I have an enclosed trailer which will house the cart when not in use. So it won't be seeing the open road.

I'm looking to go to rural areas and avoid cities. Things seem to be less stringent away from cities. More relaxed.

I know most people sell in their home town. Do you think it would be feasible to move around every few days or weeks and sell?

Thanks!

Of course, you'll need permits in every state and maybe county. The thing that will probably screw you  up is the commissary thing. And stay outta CA unless you know all their rules.

Not a practical thing to do.
You'll need permits, licenses, tax numbers, inspections and other fees every place you stop.

Agreed. California will have you jump through hoops to operate legally. And I can imagine you would need multiple commissaries, suppliers, permits, etc.
