John, looks incredible...Tri Tip one of the top 3 meats I love, couldn't get them in my neck of the woods till Costco started selling them a few months ago.

I miss tri-tip. It is a good steak that works well with marinades. What you made was what I knew to be BBQ while I lived in CA. This was before BBQ was ursurped by those southern states.... I still have a hard time justifying smoking a brisket for hours when compared to a nice juicy tri-tip. mark

I always try to get the biggest tri-tip in the cooler so I have leftovers to throw in the fridge, chill down, then shave for french dip sandwiches.
