Tried a different way to make Corned Beef Hash

I've always had trouble keeping my CB Hash together when frying it. I know this probably is not anything new but I just made some hash using leftover mashed potatoes. I took chopped leftover CB and added the mashed potatoes in equal amounts along with some finely diced onion and molded it into a patty about the size of a thick 1/2 # Hamburger. Heated a non-stick skillet on med-high added some olive oil and then added the patty. Browned it on one side & flipped it over----It Stayed Together! Put a lid on the pan to help heat it thru, took it out and enjoyed it with a mixture of Horseradish & Ketchup. Crisp crunchy outside and warm and soft inside. Best I ever made!!!

Great!! My Mom used to do that similar thing with leftover pot roast, mashed potatoes and diced onions as well.While I prefer corned beef hash, her beef hash was excellent!

That sounds really good.  I will have to try it.

This is my last CB Hash with potatoes, turnips, and parsnips.... and a ton of seasoning.  Also Two eggs and a slice of grilled Irish soda bread.

It's almost like a potato pancake with corned beef!
