Somehow I heard maybe through CNN that OU had the ball when then game was over and the game was tied. Seven plays later OU scored with no one on the field.

Really, Tennesse did terrible. Any bowl that the VOLS wil attend will be the toilet bowl.

Just kidding Tiki.

A clarification is in order. There is a chain of Mexican joints in middle Tennessee called La Hacienda. Their food is mediocre, and I'm being generous here. The place we went is the Taqueria La Hacienda, which has only one location, on Nolensville Rd., just south of I-440. This is where you'll want to go. If you go to the chain, rather than the Taqueria, you'll not only be disappointed, you'll be convinced that we know nothing at all about Mexican food.

I think thats one reason I enjoy this website as much as I do...When someone comments on or brings back a memory of a place I had been at some time in the past, I really like the recollection of the experience (99% of the time)! Mr Chips recalls a past visit to the Jack Daniels Distillery because he reads and sees the photos of our trip and links the memories. That happens to me a lot here on Roadfood.com. I enjoy reading of places that all of you visit or experiences that you have had.

The Old Soda thread has been a fun one. I remember that first MOXIE I had back in 1960, because several of you have commented on the 'unique' flavor of the TONIC !! Cheerwine, Mission Orange, Bubble Up are old favorites of mine that came back to me because of the comments of others on that thread.

Last night I emailed a couple of you for feedback on places where we will travel next week. I appreciate your quick returns. We do haul the paperwork with us to help sort out the choices when we head into an area where we aren't familiar with the restaurants.

All in All, Roadfood.com has become an important part of our traveling lifestyle. Thanks to you all.

OK, gang, our powerball tickets were purchased today in Hopkinsville, Ky. If the winning ticket is issued from southwest Ky., you'll probably hear from me. If you do not hear from me, DO NOT look for me in Las Vegas. I won't be there. I'll be someplace else. NOT Las Vegas!!

Hmmmm...Not in Las Vegas? Sounds like he doesn't want to be thrown into that "Briar patch"... Ticket issued in the heart of Mutton BBQ country. Winner 'disappears'... hmmm There's a clue or two in that message somewhere! $240 million divided 6 ways versus $240 million that 'disappears'. The plot thickens, like a good burgoo!

Al, looks like you all had a wonderful time on the Bourbon tour. Someday when I'm not chained tot he desk I hope to make it out that way. You look like you're having way too much fun. I wondered where the pictures of the XYL's where though?

I like the idea of the 45 oz. margarita... my doctor said I can only have one drink.. so a big bird bath margarita is the ticket!

Well, guys, the bad news is that we can't yet reserve Ashford castle in Ireland for our powerball victory celebration. www.ashford.ie The good news is that nor can anybody else. When I get the tickets from Al, I'll roll them over for the Saturday drawing. Erin go bragh!

Bushie suggested that we do this every week. Sounds good to me. The worst we can do is lose and the best we can do is get filthy rich.
