Troy Pig Out - Troy, NY

This weekend is the Troy Pig Out, a sanctioned KCBS event. I hope to get over there on Sunday, anyone else planning on attending? It's gonna be hot...in the 90's on Saturday and I believe Sunday as well... Here's a link that gives more information. http://www.albany.com/news/troy-pig-out.cfm

Went over today and sampled brisket.....some very good and some was only okay....I was disappointed that there weren't more competitors...especially the local Q places...like Pig's Pit in Cohoes..and Capital Q in Albany or Giffy's up in Clifton Park.....I did see the Mayor of Troy, Harry Tuntunjian had a team and was into it...for the first ever...I think it was successful...the weather sure didn't help....similar to Memphis in May....HOT and HUMID. I hope some of my fellow roadfooders in the area came by to support this event.
