My favorite soda as a child (and I'm dating myself here) was Tru-Ade. It was non-carbonated and came in grape and orange flavors in, of course, glass bottles. I don't know if this was a regional soda (I live in Washington, DC) or if it was available nationally. Does anyone else remember this brand? Whatever became of it? Is it still available somewhere, or is it yet another relic of my now-distant childhood?

I certainly do remember Tru-Ade. (This is a pic of an empty Tru-Ade bottle for sale on Ebay). I guess it's not around anymore. Frank

Looks like it's a relic: just googled up Tru-Ade, and mostly old bottles for auction on Ebay were shown....there was also a link to a message board where Tru-Ade was a topic.....

We drank a lot of it too, here in Baltimore. Pretty much the same thing as Nehi.

In upstate New York we had Tru-Ade. It was my favorite soda.
