Turkish Taffy disguised as Laffy Tafffy

I found Chocolate Turkish Taffy! Anyone that loved the chocolate as much as I did will know the second they try Chocolate Laffy Taffy. The only problem about this whole thing is it is too hard to find Chocolate Laffy Taffy. Here in Washington State the only time it is on the shelves is at Halloween time. Even then you have to buy this $10.00 bag of mixed candy bars just to get a hand full of them. I have searched all over the internet for Chocolate Laffy Taffy with no success. Why would they only produce it once a year in small amounts? I find this a bit odd. I have tried the French Chew and I'm sorry but there is no comparison to the taste of Chocolate Turkish Taffy. I would love to have at least one person that would be able to recognize the taste of Chocolate Turkish Taffy find and try a Chocolate Laffy Taffy and tell me if they agree with me or not. Better yet, someone that can make Willy Wonka begin mass production on his Chocolate Mousse Laffy Taffy would be great! Ann Marie A Chocolate Turkish Taffy Fan 60's - 70's

Here's a little history about Bonomo's Turkish Taffy: http://www.candyfavorites...omos-turkish-taffy.php Bonomo's Turkish Taffy changed hands a few times, in 1980 becoming part of Tootsie Roll Industries of Chicago, which stopped making the candy in 1989. Ellen Gordon, president of Tootsie Roll Industries, said that the company phased out the product when demand declined as tastes changed. I would try these guys for the Chocolate Laffy Taffy (apparently they're only made in the fun-size): http://www.candyfavorites...velty-oldfashioned.php They have it listed there as item# 7203 LAFFY TAFFY - CHOCOLATE. I bet if anyone could help you it'd be them (888)525-7577.

I bought mine on Ebay. The contact info is: bonomoturkishtaffy@gmail.com The chocolate is still as wonderful as ever. Wasn't crazy about the strawberry or banana.

I bought mine on eBay as well. Wasn't cheap but, was supposed to be for a charity called, "Canines For Kids". I certainly hope so because, it came out to $20.00 (plus shipping) for 20 small pieces. Although I never really cared for the chocolate, (Vanilla is my favorite) I found the chocolate much better than I remembered.

Don't bid! They're tiny bars (although great tasting and the real thing) BUT... They're gouging with the shipping! $12.95 for what will fit in a $4.XX flat rate box!
