I like my Habanero jelly to be HOT!   Too many times I have I have bought some only to be dis-appointed!  I used to be able to buy the Green colored Habanero jely from Julian and it WAS hot!  Its difficult to find locally tho!
Same goes for Hot sauces........  most of them are either ketchupy tasting or too mild!
When I go to eat at places like El Torrito etc or to some Asian places I always ask them for the hottest possible sauce they have or can make for me!
P.F. Changs has perhaps one of the best I have ever tried.......  its a thick black sauce called Ring of Fire and is only served if you ask for it as it's too hot for most folks!
I will usually go thru an entire bowl and ask for more!

Here is P.F. Changs Ring of Fire...........................

I too love Habanero jelly. Very tasty!

    Mar,
I'm finding a lot of the Japanese restaurants are now serving a side of grilled shisto peppers. they are excellent that way. Check out Kastsu-ya, I think I've got them there before.
