UMD Bulldogs Hockey Championship

I don't post here often although I have been a long time member of this site. Not sure how many college hockey fans are here, but I just need to let out my joy at the win of the men's hockey team at the University of Minnesota-Duluth to take the NCAA Championship. I am an alumni of UMD and remember their four overtime loss to Bowling Green in '84 when I was a freshman. The goalie at that time was Rick Kosti, who was a friend of mine. He was devastated by that game and I hope he finally has some closure. I just think it is awesome that a small college in northern Minnesota has an opportunity to play and beat the elite schools like Notre Dame and Michigan. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!

I was pulling for your team.  Especially against the U of M Chokerines.  Only thing better would have been beating the Gophers.  Enjoy the win, you deserve it.

They had a great run and they sure deserved taking the title. Congratulations to your school.
