Anyone have a recipe that mimics this lost treasure?

Never went to Oneonta. Which is strange, because I took road trips in college to just about every other SUNY school, and pizza was always the roadfood of choice. Sorry I couldn't help.

Not sure if we're talking about the same place or not. This was a pizza place in Oneonta NY that closed about 30 years ago. There are still places that serve similar pizza, but the recipes have lost something over the years. Still the best pizza I've ever had.

I just had to put SOMETHING in this thread! "Mosca" means "fly" in Spanish; it's a common surname. It sounds like he was a great guy; the pizza was probably true roadfood. Tom
