Otis Smith (GM) was not going to pay up for Turk..I don't blame him! Too inconsistant for a max salary! No way is he worth that!
This is huge for Vince Carter's new restaurant being built in Daytona Beach...HUGE. He is now going to be around to watch this investment. Supposed to open in October. The steel is going up....Moving along.
OK Jelly Bear, wake up from hibernation. What do you think of this trade? I like it if for not other reason that Otis stuck it to Turk's agent. I don't think he is going to get a max contract..We shall see. Well, maybe from the Knicks!

The not so magic Orlando team needs more than a Vinny Carter on his last legs to get back to the Finals, ditto for the Cavs with their acquisition of Shaquille. I was most impressed with the Spurs, great move getting Jefferson.

JonJax - I think Carter will be about the same and is probably more popular. I just liked how quickly Otis Smith moved knowiung he had a big problem with Turk. O'Neil.....Living in Cleveland. Hey who knows. SK - I think he is going to be at the restaurant quite a bit. I'm sure you will get to meet him.
