Last month I was in Las Vegas for a convention and had a chance to explore some of the Hot Dog joints listed in the Las Vegas Weekly article "The Best of the Wurst" (http://www.lasvegasweekly.com/2002/07_03/news_coverstory_index.html). I wasn't able to make it to all of the places but I did get to four of them.

The only place on the LVW list that I've been to is Chicago Hot Dogs on N. Rancho Dr. and after reading the article, that is the only one that sounds good enough to eat.

From Chicago Tasty Dogs, which according to the article substitutes ketchup in place of sliced tomatoes on what should be it's signature Chicago style dog to the Gold Coast Casino which according to the article does not offer mustard, to Costco and it's sesame seeded rolls and the grilling "mechanisms" at Stage Deli, none of these places seem to offer a nice all beef less than 1/4 pound griddle dog with the proper complement of condiments on a plain or poppy seeded roll. Fortunately the article didn't even mention the 3/4 pound goodness knows what it's made of, looks like it hasn't even been cooked dog served up at Slots of Fun.

      signman,
Chicago Tasty Dogs didn't put any ketchup on my Dog. As you can see in the picture on the cuisine capers site, tomato slices were included. I would recommend them highly.
