I agree that the Johnny's French Dip concentrate is the next best thing if you do not have real fresh roast beef drippings.
I used it the other day with the addition of a couple of tablespoons of frozen, leftover beef drippings, and it worked quite well as an "au jus" dipping sauce.
(and yes, I know that "au jus" means with juice in french, but the usage is different in the USA)
Of course, I would rather have a Buffalo Dip (Beef on 'Weck)!
