W. Springfield, Massachusetts ... Another farewell

I'd only been here once or twice.

Biz was slow I ordered a hot dog and they took one out at chased it around the griddle for a few minutes and put it on a tired bun ... yet I felt the place had good soul.

It reminds of of a place I can't find reference to, on the South end of the Berlin Turnpike (the place with the outdated neon sign that said "Hamburgs 5 cents" or something like that.)

Both places embraced home cooking and and I wonder what really did them in?

Anybody can help me with the Berlin Turnpike name of the place ???
