I used to be a wine nut but have mellowed since I no longer have an business trip to SFO twice a month. I think Zinfidels should be black enought to use as ink if required.

Trivia question...The most visited winery in America?

    Asheville, NC---Biltmore.

I've been to the Biltmore. Great place to visit.
I was a little disappointed by the wines. But, hey, it was wet!

There's also a real nice self guided walking tour of Ashville which is neat. Teaches you about the history of Ashville and its architecture.

The Biltmore at Christmastime is about the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Simply astounding.

As a NC native we visit about every two years. I was first taken there when I was about eight and although my sixteen year old complains about it she gets into it a few minutes into the tour.

The guy was single when he started the place...what a bach pad!

The winery is really nice, and while not all the wines are outstanding, the learning experience about winemaking is top-notch. I am partial to a red from Biltmore, Cardinal's Crest, named after an artifact in the house.

              The house blows your mind.
