I will be spending the night in Warren Ohio next week. Any breakfast suggestions? The closer to downtown Warren, the better

A couple suggestions, if it's not too late, based on my one-night visit from last year:

The Saratoga, on E. Market Street (the main drag into downtown from the east) has been around since the 20's or so, and looks it. Classic old, wood-booth type place with decent food. I had a perfectly fine swiss steak for dinner, so I imagine you could get a good breakfast there as well. Good, solid Roadfood, just a few steps from the courthouse square.

Further down E. Market is the Coffee Cup Cafe (or it might be the Koffee Kup, I don't remember). Typical family restaurant, busy on a Saturday morning- bologna & eggs w/ biscuits for breakfast, also perfectly fine. Less than 10 minutes walk from the courthouse.

There is also a good coffee and pastry shop on the next street over, a couple blocks from the courthouse, but I'm at a loss as to the name of the place or the street. Take a stroll around the block and you should be able to find it.

It's not much to go on, but I hope it finds you in time.

I'll won't be there until tomorrow, so it's not too late. Thanks for the suggestions.

The Mocha House, near the intersection of High and Elm. I think that's the place the other poster is referring to. If you happen to be around for lunch, the Hot Dog Shoppe can't be beat.

The trip to Warren did not work out at all for Roadfood. Because of terrible weather and other problems, breakfast was the Comfort Inn continental breakfast and lunch was in downtown Youngstown. I will return and hope to sample the Saratoga (in which I spent a couple of minutes - beautiful place), the Mocha House and the Hot Dog Shoppe. Thanks for the tips.

The Sunrise (not far from the Saratoga) has some of the best pizza in the world. The rest of the fare is great. Avoid the wings. If you happen to be back in Youngstown, stop at the Golden Dawn. I have known the family for many years. Tell them some dingaling HVAC tech with a TV collection sent you.

Going to be heading that way next month, as the sister-in-law is in Youngstown. Hope to be able to check out the places listed in Warren as I haven't been greatly impressed with the food I seen so far when I've been there. Thanks for the info...
