Does anyone remember Mighty Moes, Jr. Hot Shoppe's or Hot Shoppes in the DC area? Anyone have the recipes for any of these restaurants. Conrad

I remember Hot Shoppes cafeterias. I think Marriot bought them out? What about S&W (I think it was S&W)--there was one in Landmark, the old Landmark mall that was an outdoor mall. Can't think of any cafeterias in the area, except for Country Cookin' Buffet.

Thanks! I have seen this book and it is what has lead me to ask about the chain. The Jr. Hot Shoppes was a competitior of McD's and subsequently become Roy Rogers. I have found little about it as Jr HS. quote:

you remember Pappy Parkers' fried chicken they used to serve at Roy Rogers? I seem to remember my dad telling me Marriot had bought the rights to serve at their restaurants.

Actually Jr Hot Shoppes (later a Marriott company) had this and then Roy Roger bought them out. quote:Originally posted by mr. sausage you remember Pappy Parkers' fried chicken they used to serve at Roy Rogers?
