Way off the beaten path Tue, 07/26/05 5:14 PM (permalink)
About 15 years ago, when I was attending college in Galesburg, Ill., a couple times I drove about 20 miles south from there to a wide place in the road called Saint Augustine to eat steak at a restaurant called Club 41. I remember the steaks being quite good, but the atmosphere was like being at a corner bar. I haven't been there since around 1991.

The place does still exist, I believe. Has anyone else ever eaten there? If I'm ever back in the area, I'd like to try it again.
