 A popular bumper sticker on cars in Portland, OR reads "Keep Portland Wierd." Discovering Wayne's Chicago Red Hots was a breath of fresh air for this born and raised Chicago boy. It was like being back in "sweet home Chicago" when I saw the Vienna Beef signs and umbrellas and walked through the door of this recently opened hot dog stand. All their food: steamed poppy seed buns, snappy Vienna Beef dogs, kosher dill pickles, and neon green relish, is imported straight out of Chicago. A Portland twist was the opportunity to enjoy a beer and a hot dog while watching one of many featured Chicago-theme films: The Untouchables, The Blues Borthers, or Wayne's World, while sitting in your own lawn chair. http://wayneschicagoredhots.com CSD PhD Professor of Hot Dogs
