Great point!  I am an  example of that.  I rarely order a salad
anymore in restaurants because they are often composed of that nasty weedy stuff.   So now, instead of getting some vitamins and fiber from iceberg and romaine, I get no vitamins or fiber from an UNordered and/or UNeaten salad.  
    I'll occaisionally order one if I see someone else with one and can confirm that it has actual lettuce, and not weeds.   It seems that the best odds of getting real lettuce are in Italian restaurants and in traditional Roadfood (non-foofoo) type restaurants.
