Weird, but good.

I, like many people, enjoy popcorn. However, I do something that I don't believe many other people do, or would even think about. With any bag of microwave popcorn I make, I use hot sauce. Franks. A small 1-2 inch deep bowl or dish filled with Red Hot, and I dip the individual pieces in it. Started over 10 years ago. My sisters love it. My old college roommate even came around.

Anyone else do things that may be considered "weird" with their food?

Well, there was the time with the tub of pudding, but...mind your own business.

    Edited for spelling.

I get the buttered unsalted kind of microwave popcorn, then add my own cajun seasoning.

    nothing like lips burning popcorn.

Wow! This is my favorite way to eat popcorn! I even use Franks hot sauce as well. I'm not sure why I started eating popcorn this way -- I think I had a friend who liked hot sauce on popcorn but put it in the bag and mixed it all up. I don't like my popcorn soggy, so I prefer to dip in the pieces individually

I've seen these powder (so called spice) kits at several websites for flavoring your popcorn. I just prefer the old fashioned buttered version myself. Nothing fancy... But you do bring back memories on bringing up spices. I remember as a kid you used to get a little clear plastic packet of hot sauce (Tabasco) with pork rinds.. Seen them a couple times in the last couple years, but talk about a rare find nowadays, cant find them anywhere anymore. (I used to think this was the hottest thing on the earth, at that time in youth).
As for Franks, there's a bottle on my side most the time.. It's my favorite!

I don't think this is all that weird, but my boss suggested I pour some M&Ms into the bag while it's still warm and it's gooooood.

Every once in a while I fix a peanut butter and mayo sandwich. And when I was younger a lot of times I just fried up a pan of onions and this is what I would have for dinner.

Well, I like sauerkraut on tuna salad and pizza.
My dad would dunk his buttered toast into his coffee in the morning. He learned that from his mother. Of course she did it because she would not waste anything, and the bread was probably very dry. Also dad ate banana and bread although not as a sandwich. One bite of bread and one bite of banana. I never cared for it but my brother still eats it that way today.
My maternal granpa would eat everything in one plate although not at once. When asked why he was sopping up the spaghetti sauce with his chocolate cake he simply said, "It all gets mixed up inside anyway."

For me, it's one handful of popcorn and one square of milk chocolate Hershey bar in the mouth at the same time. Glass of Coke on the side. Been eating it that way since I was about 8.

I do the hot sauce and popcorn thing too. I shake it in a steel mixing bowl with a snap-top. I probably use Tabasco Garlic the most, followed by whatever the sauce du jour is in the cupboard.

I love movie theatre popcorn dipped in nacho cheese sauce. Potentially messy, especially in a dark theatre, and not remotely healthy, but so good.
Meijer also sells a really good spicy popcorn. It's their own brand, and I think the flavor is just "Hot and Buttery" or something like that. Very spicy, more peppery than like hot sauce.
