The Barton's is an inexpensive Owensboro,KY Bourbon that does just fine in Mixed Drinks (My Redneck Sours!).. The Knob Creek has been on the shelf here for over a year. It is available as special event-sipping nectar.
These winter nights my one shot late in the evening is usually Peppermint Schnapps, either straight, or stirred into a nice cup of Hot Chocolate.

Topped with whipped cream and more graham sprinkles....For some reason, I think we used whipped cream in the blender along with the other ingredients. Maybe it was heavy cream......Been a long time since I have made one! Oh it was sooo good.
