Well, it's official....I'm

Mike, get used to the coming aches and pains.

50 was rather uneventful for me. It came and went. Now 55 was eventful because that's when I discovered most of my high school classmates were retiring (and I wasn't). 60 again was uneventful, but 62 was. OMG! I could be collecting social security!

I turned 50 back in November. I don't know why, but I actually felt like I was entering a new, exciting stage of life. (Perhaps it was just the Margaritas??)

The b'day was really good. We were supposed to go to a nice seafood place, NO not Red Lobster, for dinner tonight but Miss Ava decided to come down with strep throat. We're gonna try again next week.

Now if you wanna start throwing around family photo stuff... Somewhere I've got the 8mm film dad shot of you as a gangly teenager roller skating converted onto video tape. I'm pretty sure I still have the film but dad had a lot of his 8mm stuff put on VHS a long time ago. I need to put that stuff on DVD.
