Well, our Cart with its BBQ smoker,Propane refrig.

and Grill is sitting behind a MacDonalds, about 200 yrs away..We are selling BBQ Ribs like they are going out of style..Pulled Pork too..
Our Dogs, polish,Italian, sloppy Joes do not compete with them..Their service is really slow, so we make out very well..My small school bus
has big banners on its both sides proclaiming our Ribs..
I do them in a convection oven for 4.5 hours at 225, then into the smoker on the cart for 1 hr.Very,Very tender, smokey and tasty too..
We are quite reasonable, 3 ribs, bbq beans and slaw..$5.00..I do our pulled pork in the convection oven with the probe unil internal temp is 195 then into the smoker for 1 hr..WOW what a flavor..cool and pull..Oh the temp. today was a rip roaring 80 degrees..

Where are you located? Sounds like pulled pork country :) Did you build out your mobile food truck yourself?

    Thanks Victor:
In the background on one of the pictures, u see a small bus..That is my tow vehicle and extra storage vehicle..
The cart in three of the pictures is in front of the county tax office..Worked it there for three weeks and found I could do much better elsewhere..

    thanks for the pix.
How did you get your Best Kosher umbrella?
That cart looks nice. The diamond plate really shines.

Do you use your bbq pit much? Noticed it being used as a table top for your ketchup and mustard.

I bought the Umbrella from Best Kosher..$90..

I use the BBQ every day we work..Average 10 slabs of ribs per day..Also do about 10 LBS of Pulled pork per day on it..Its just not for show its for real use..It has a propane burner to start the wood then i use a mixture of Oak and Hickory to smoke the food..

Yes we are in the Bradenton/Sarasota area..I only work on weekends so I have no problems..On a day to day basis I would have to remove the smoker..Take the ribs, Pulled Pork, Italian Beef off my menu as well as the Chili Cheese Dogs..I'd rather sell the goodies and only operate the cart 2 days a week...Twice today we had individual orders in excess of $40 each because of our menu..Much better than selling $2.00 dogs..

Gene, did you build that cart yourself, or purchase it with all the goodies already on it?

    Vic..
I designed the cart, ordered the new propane/electric 6.5 Cu ft refrig. Had the Smoker custom designed and built to fit the space it resides in. Purchased the grill for installation where it is located..I had the basic cart built by Island Time Hot dog Carts in Largo Fl. I had them run a copper tubing behind the gas burners to heat my water, had them put 5 compartments over burners(3) so I could handle a varity of foods, Hot..Had to shelves which can be removed built to give me additional space..They did the sinks as per my request..The basic cart without the frills runs 4K..By the time I was finished i was in it close to 10K..NO REGRETS...
