Wendys was the first fast food resturant to have breakfast. the original site on broad street in columbus had scrambled eggs and french toast. They had problems with the concept as it held up the cooking and it was pulled in short order. The breakfast addition now seems to be franchise by franchise. Some sites in town have breakfast and others do not.

I believe all the Wendy's here in Kingsport, TN are now gone. There is still one open along the Interstate outside of town but truthfully the only thing I liked at Wendy's was the chili occasionally.

Down here we have Biscuitville, they are only open in the morning, they are pretty good for fast food. Wendys spicy chicken sandwich, or chili is another fast food fave. Arbys food is not very good anymore, and the health code is getting scary.

Ces - there are a few Wendy's around Kingsport, just like there are in the rest of the Tri. -One at the Wilcox Drive exit off I-26 -One on West Stone Drive in Allendale -One at the airport exit off I-81 They are not ubiquitous like McDonalds, but it is the same in JC (two stores) and Bristol (two stores.)
