West Palm Beach

I'm going to West Palm Beach for  training the week of June 17th and was interested in any suggestions for WPB and Palm Beach. I haven't been there before and would be interested in finding some roadfood spots. I've already done a search on the subject and it looks like Hambuger Heaven and maybe Waterway Cafe could be worth trying. I would really like to find a local place or two that does great fresh seafood. And maybe something a little higher end for my last night there. Thanks for any suggestions. Tristan

Grease Burger Bar, West Palm beach
    213 Clematis St. 561-651-1075
It was listed as one of the top 50 burgers in the US. I was there in 2009 which was few years ago. I believe it was a old butcher shop because the meat track still hung from the ceiling. It's in town by a park. Good burger.
Another place which I hadn't tried in the Green's Pharmacy in Palm Beach.   151 N County Rd., 561-832-4443. Which in the historical part of town. They serve a mean Chicken Fried Steak.
Google them both and see what you think. Best to call both places before going there.

The Okeechobee Steak House. Now it has been a while since I've eaten there so you may want to check it out further. It was my birthday meal of choice for a few years.

I remember an excellent little Cuban restaurant on the street corner of US 1 and I don't think very far from the utility plant.  Man, they had the best fried plantain chips!

I would second the recommendation for Havana. Sit-down restaurant with a 24 hour take-out window.

Hamburger Heaven was always good, have not been there since they moved from the old location.
Grease is great, good portions, good prices (forWPB) and good quality. They also serve many Cold Draft Beers
Rocco's Tacos is across the street from Grease, upscale
    Tex-Mex with fresh made Quac.
Okeechobee Steak House is excellent .
Havana is good. You get great Cuban any hour of the day.
Plus all the recognizable chains are in City Place, grab a piece of cheesecake to bring back to the room.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I'll try Havana tonight. A sales rep is taking me to Sailfish Marina tomorrow night. I'll let you know what I think.

Relish is a great place in Northwood Village  for more than your average burger. Great shakes also.
For something nicer for your last night, Buccan is wonderful.
