14 of us met up at our first stop, the WILLIAMSBURG SNACK BAR in Haydenville, MA
Northampton is such a lovely college town..their slogan is "Walk into something wonderful"

Here's our wonderful host , GREGG, at our first stop, the WILLIAMSBURG SNACK BAR, near Northampton

Dale ("wandering Jew") was kind enough to bring us donuts from ALLIE'S in Rhode Island..
here's our legendary Roadfooder, Billyboy, trying to get his perfect shot

Our Roadfood.com crowd is starting to gather...the 2 blonde gals in the back left , Jennifer, and Donna
are neighbors of Gregg's, and joined us for the first stop....
In the ivory jacket in the middle is BETH, one of our favorite Roadfooders..

Gregg and I enjoyed some nice little walks thru the center of Northampton, which is only about 1/4 mile from his condo..

Gregg was an unbelievable host.......I was grateful to have special VIP "couch crashout" privileges, as well as "guest laptop" privileges...

Gregg had us come back to his condo for a pit stop in-between the Williamsburg Snack Bar and the next stop , Bub's BBQ.
What a nice gesture, as it gave us all time to recuperate before we stuffed ourselves with BBQ...!
You won't find that on the large bus tours, huh ?!?
Some of us enjoyed handcrafted beers. Gregg has a fridge just like mine, with tons of hot sauces, bbq sauces, and mustards... (a true Roadfooders fridge)

Gregg's condo building was a FORMER SCHOOLHOUSE... we all thought it was a reat neat place..

Yours truly enjoys one those handcrafted beers at Gregg's place...
note the TV screen........is that a PASTRAMI sandwich ?!?
Ironically, that was the sight that awaited me when I arrived late Sat. 16th... Gregg said it was merely coincidence, as he had his DVR of SANDWICH PARADISE paused on that spot...
he thought it was Katz's pastrami, but Billyboy said "NO, it's the STAGE DELI" !
Us Roadfooders know our pastrami!

I think you're right about the good stuff on the trip report thread. I feel like a kid in a candy store with all these choices to look at. Hey, I was in a candy the store the other night with another Roadfooder; what could be better? Now if I could only go back to being a kid.
