In 2011, I plan on doing something great… I plan on telling some stories.
Over the last few months, I have been thinking about what I could possibly bring to the blogosphere. I love fashion and design, but I have no credential. I love to read, but I am no critic.
What I have, is a pink typewriter, and a profound love for hearing and telling stories.
The idea that each of us has a story is—in my opinion—what makes this life worthwhile. That each of us are living this award-winning tale of heroism and triumph each day, and that these stories are joined together into the epic of one family, one community, and one world.
I am going to start with some of my own stories, and in time, I plan to tell others.
In the meantime, I hope you will think about your own story. How it began, how it might end, and what you will fill the pages with between.
Starting next week… the story of how this pink typewriter business began.

I've not been able to get in to the swing of Blogs.  As much as I hang around the food boards I would think that I'd like them, but no.
 
 
 
 
 

A bit more than just a blog, but Serious Eats is one of my frequent stops.
 
Since his tastes are so similar to mine (Asian food, Mexican food, and quirky little dives), Radiused Corner gets a lot of my reading as well.
 
And while it's somewhat California-centric, I always like The Eaten Path as well.

Go Fug Yourself, DoubleXX at Slate, and Tiny Nibbles.  Julie would add Monkey See at NPR, Hitfix, and RandBall at the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.  That guy is really funny, and Clarence Swampwater has a bar of the week feature that I think a lot of people around here would enjoy.

Also enjoy Jackson Jambalaya (not about food)   
Most of the others I look at have to do with Celiac disease or gluten free food.
