What big chains have you never been to?

We've all been to our share of them, but there are some, usually regional, that we might go our whole lives without trying.  Often no great loss, but you always have to wonder...

Anyway, here are some that I haven't yet sampled:

A&W
Shakey's
Wienerschnitzel
Fuddrucker's
Whataburger
Fatburger
In-N-Out
Round Table
Jason's Deli
Del Taco
Taco Time
Church's Chicken

Of those, Shakey's interests me the most, and I'd bet it's the one I'm least likely to ever see.

Of those on the list I've been to A&W, Shakeys (years ago), Fuddruckers, Del Taco (once) and Church's Chicken (30 years ago).  Other chains I've not yet patronized are Sonic, Five Guys, and Smashburger...there are probably others but those are the only ones I can think of at the moment.

Brad-We didnt care for Sonic at all, and 5 Guys was just okay.
i have not been to Smashburger, Jasons Deli, Del Taco, Whataburger and many more i cant list. We did see the places I mentioned on the road, but were not inclined to make a special stop.

From the list given, I've been to all of them except:
    Whataburger
    Fatburger
    In-N-Out
    Round Table
    Jason's Deli
    Del Taco
    Taco Time

I was going to go to In-n-Out the last time I was in Tahoe, but we ended up at Izzy's Burger Palace instead (local burger shack). There are undoubtedly more, since I'm not familiar with a lot of them.

Of the chains we have here, I've never been to:
    Quiznos
    Chipotle
    Aunt Annie's Soft Pretzels
    Big Apple Bagel
    Firehouse Subs
    Famous Dave's
    Wild Chef
    O'Charley's
    Texas Roadhouse
    Smashburger
Freshii (but I mean to, they opened after I was off work and didn't need lunch downtown)
    On the Border
    Fazoli's
    Melting Pot
    Zoup
    PF Chang's

I'm sure there are more. I do Sonic periodically just for the novelty (and the onion rings), Steak & Shake regularly, and Five Guys when I'm feeling rich (three people = $35).

Felix, Auntie Anne's serves a mean pretzel dog...if I'm at the mall and getting hungry it's the first thing I look for.

Felix, is Izzy's still a decent burger? I used to go there years ago when I was a Lake Tahoe regular.

There are many I haven't tried and don't care about, but one I'd like to try is Shake Shack.  They're not in CA, either, but I might try to get to one in DC the next time I visit.

For those who haven't tried Auntie Anne's, it does have good stuff.  I get the pretzels dipped a second time in warm butter (or butter facsimile)--yes, messy but dayam...

I've been to the usual suspects, McDonalds, KFC, Burger King, etc.  When I was young growing up in Seattle, my parents preferred Dags over McDonalds and so I never went there until I was in high school and had friends with cars.
I like Taco Time and dislike Taco Bell.  I've also noticed that the people I see in the Taco Time here are for the most part around my age (57) give or take.  Young people seem to like Taco Bell better.  Shakeys was where I had my first ever pizza at 15 or 16.  I can't believe I never had pizza until I was that old.  After my mother passed, my father would occasionally buy himself a Totinos frozen sausage pizza and eat half at a time.  Back then, there were fennel seeds in the sausage and it was good. :)   I liked Dennys until they got full of themselves and jacked up their prices.  Applebees and Sharis are meh.  I have a sentimental liking for Perkins but there are none within 2 hours of here.

Chipotle, Five Guys & Panera, for starters.
Went to Shakey's only once, early on when I started college in Pensacola -- thankfully didn't get the sausage pizza with fennel seeds; my nightmares of junior high school lunches would have returned!

We don't have most of those in central NY, so 95% of them I've never been to. Even when I lived in Seattle, I don't recall seeing most of the places listed, or if they were there, I never ate there (except Taco Time, they were a few blocks from my place). I was more apt to go to Dick's (or another place whose name escapes me now for some reason) for a burger than anywhere else.
Funny to see Sambo's mentioned, my grandfather would take me there occasionally when I was little, I felt like a big boy when we could sit at the counter instead of at a table.

Anyway, here are some that I haven't yet sampled:

    A&W
    Shakey's
    Wienerschnitzel
    Fuddrucker's
    Whataburger
    Fatburger
    In-N-Out
    Round Table
    Jason's Deli
    Del Taco
    Taco Time
    Church's Chicken

Of those, Shakey's interests me the most, and I'd bet it's the one I'm least likely to ever see.

Many of those, although chains, are in fact regional. Also at one time some of those were large chains and today have only a handful of operations and are barely considered a chain at all.

ScreamingChicken, that may be the problem. I would rather walk a mile on LEGOs than go to the mall. However, based on what I've read here, if I find myself trapped at the mall and hungry, I'll give Auntie Annie's a go.

chefbuba, they are! Haven't changed in the 15 or so years I've been going there, at least. I got the Ranch Burger, my best friend (who lives there and goes fairly often with her kids) got their chili dog, and we split an order of Nacho fries.

I havent been to most of the places you guys list, either. Just too lazy to list them, so thanks!

Pretty much the same here. The franchise that I haven't visited that seems to get the most mention here is White Castle and the franchises that I would really like to try are Shake Shack and In And Out.
