I think I'd be willing to try a Reuben taco. Corned beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese with spicy mustard. I'd also go for a sausage and pepper taco with Italian sausage, grilled cubanelle peppers and onions, some grated parmesan and a little marinara sauce.
Michael a reuben sounds brilliant! Reuben sandwiches are my all time favorite!
The peppers and sausage sounds good too
Hah! Someone from Alaska recognizes my genius, even if someone else from Alaska doesn't.

You're in Alaska........make fish, shrimp or crab tacos! 
:) Fish tacos are definitely on the menu! My favorite is blackened rock fish and homemade pico with lots of cilantro. Halibut in a light curry sauce isn't bad either.

Living where I do and with as many 100s of times I have been to Mexico I venture to say I know my Mexican food as good if not better then most anyone on this Forum! Not to mention also my Wife is Hispanic and is an EXCELLENT cook! Where some of you folks come up with what you think is Mexican food astonishes me!

Hey, I know all there is to know about Mexican food. I even had a can of Hormel beef tamales a couple of weeks ago. It went really well with my Chef Boyardee beef ravioli and Armour Vienna sausages.
Those tamales are hard to find, but I always grab a few cans whenever I see them.

Tonight's tacos... 3 corn tortillas heated up in a pan with a bit of oil. Smeared with perfectly ripe Haas Avocado, sprinkled with some sort of a seasoning salt and dripped with Green Taco Sauce. One had cheese melted in it first but I didn't taste the cheese so I didn't waste the calories in the other two.
I would have added minced onions if I felt like mincing.

Mar and Edsails are my go to people in Socal, they are both out to give the best info they have on Mexican food and all other foods. I never found them to be know it alls, just people who know what they like and where to get it............Thats good by me..............Caring people helping other Roadfood members make good choices..................Bill

Leechef is exactly right. My tacos at home are made from whatever fresh fish the market has that day. Favorites are halibut, red snapper and mahi mahi. If they don't have that I can always do it with tilapia. I chunk it up, marinate it in a blend of chipotle, oil, lemon, cayenne, black pepper and salt for about 10 minutes. I blacken it on a cast iron flattop. I serve it with sliced cabbage, lime, pico de gallo and a sauce. The sauce is (don't laugh) ranch dressing with a good dose of Tapatio or Cholula hot sauce. Delicious! I'm thinking of dinner tonight now......mmmmmm.....

Not a bad idea. I've done Franco American spaghetti tacos and Dinty Moore beef stew tacos. And I just happen to have a can of Chef Boyardee beef ravioli on hand.
