What is the cost of Wings in your area?

Hello All,
What is the cost of buffalo wings in your area?
In Harrisonburg, Va., they average about .40 cents.
Of course, the more you order, they drop in prices.
Take Care,

.49 to .69 each. One place here does a .35 special on Wednesday, minimum of 10 wings. Prices go down as well as wing count goes up!

Places here in Huntsville, AL, usually don't sell their wings by the piece. There is a restaurant here that has 3 locations called Beaureguard's that have excellent wings. You can get a large wing special that consists of 10-12 wings, fries, and drink for around $9.

Columbus, Ohio..depends on the place and time. Buffalo Wild Wings (Formerly BW3) had a wing special of .29 then .35/wing from about 2003-2005. Average is about $4.99 for 6 wings and the more one orders, generally the price per wing decreases. Roosters also sells wings about the same price. Hooters has all you can eat wings about once per week for $8.99..has had this about 3 years now. Local bars and restaurants vary, but larger restaurants where wings are just a minor side item tend to be more expensive and less tasty.

Also don't forget, in many places one will pay less for ordering all flappers and somewhat more for all drummies. I actually enjoy the flappers..more meat then would seem.

Good point. Our fav place (Rick's in Salisbury, NC) sells ONLY flappers.

Heirnomius (sp) in Wilmington, NC sells the largest wings I've ever seen (both drumies and flappers) for 30 cents for locals. I am at the beach often enough to be considered a local. Also their blue cheese dressing is to die for. Market Street if in town. I stay at the Hampton two doors down just so I can eat and drink there.

Required disclaimer...I like the owner, Skip, but have no vested interest, just VERY happy customer.

Heck. I thought you were talking about Wings cigarettes. Boy, I haven't seen Wings since I was a little kid. My folks used to send me to the store to buy them, but I got to keep the cards with pictures of different airplanes.

that's called a loss leader. They're betting you'll drink enough booze to make it worth it. But, the next time I'm in your area, I definately want to hit up the 10 cent wings. That's great. It's been years since I've seen 10 cent wings. In the 1980's and into the 90's, it was commonplace to see the 10 cent special. But, I haven't seen them that cheap, like I said, in years.

In DC you can get 10 (sometimes 12) wings for 6.99-7.99 almost anywhere. 50 Cent specials are common as is 1/2 price during happy hour (so 3.50-4.50 for about 10 wings).

(by the way - what ever happened to the cents symbol on a keyboard. What replaced it? the @ symbol?)

I don't often see .50 each in MN, more like .65 to .75. There's a drive-in in Mahtomedi where they're close to a buck, but they are huge, all drummy sections, and darn near the size of a normal drumstick. They're worth that much, they are so big.
