Real chocolate pudding as opposed to that instant stuff.  I love it hot, cold and right out of the pot.

If it were available everywhere I'd be in trouble with Bananas Foster.

For pie it's Key Lime.

For cake it's the chocolate sheet cake with cream cheese frosting that my aunt used to make when I was a child... as long as it's served with vanilla ice cream.

I also like bread pudding when I make it.

Mike's Key Lime Pie

Mike who?

Sorry. For years Mike's Pies was Tampa. When I was home (Tampa) always made it to the pie shop. I moved , he is more upscale now.
Sons have brought me Pies over the times they visit. Still smell the coffee and over 30 different pies.  OH the pies.  Click on his story. Alot more than they state.  Will post link but prices include their shipping cost.

Mike always wanted to be left in the dark but have got to say this is Gayle Sierens husband. Anybody from Tampa knows the name.
First woman to do play by play for NFL.

Not knocking Mikes and understanding $79+ for one Key Lime pie = delivery but I can use Nellie and Joe's recipe and make 20 pies for that.  Mike's must really be some GOOD pie.
So, in answer to the question, Key Lime pie.  I don't like super sweet stuff.

No, mellow-lee posted the dessert in another forum...it involves fruit cocktail, marshmallows and sour cream. A unique and awfully good taste.

I Don't pay that price. On another thread about Receiving Christmas goodies stated that two sons ate one of my pies in transport. LOL
His recipe is on the internet for the pie. But find the Carrot Cake Recipe I have from them. Wifes favorite.
Believe retail around $24.00, locally. Not bad.

Annpeeples: Do I have this right?

 "Mush"

1. Pour a large can of fruit cocktail (incl. heavy syrup) over a package of marshmallows.
2. Allow to soak over night.
3. Remove marshmallows, and mash them in a large serving bowl with a fork until creamy.
4. Return fruit cocktail to the marshmallows and add one small container of sour cream.
5. Stir mixture thoroughly and return to refrigerator to chill before serving.

Exactly right....be sure to return fruit cocktail(large can) and the heavy syrup to bowl with mushed marshmallows...highly recommended,guys.....old family favorite since the 1950'a!!!

Hey Cav-----your chocolate wafer ice box cake was a favorite long, long ago.  I had completely forgotten about it---but 2 grandsons and their Mother will be here in March and one night they shall enjoy your reminder.

I get urges, now and then, for something sweet,  Keep a package of Klondike bars in the freezer for such occasions----I like the double chocolate.  Yummy.

Make a great bread pudding with whisky sauce.
Make great rice pudding. Custard an inch thick and raisins.
Make chocolate pie with a foot high whipped cream top.
Can't get anywhere near my mother's apple pie.
Make The Mariner's Famous Key Lime Pie.  When in Florida ya gotta do it.

I wonder why I'm getting fat?

I don't usually eat dessert. I would prefer an after dinner cordial. I do enjoy fresh strawberries with balsamic vinegar and a little fresh cracked black pepper. YUM!! I just looked at the post above me and I saw key lime pie. One of my all time favorites.

My favorites will have to be key lime pie, mango or peach refrigerator cake, and chocolate pudding. I haven't tried "REAL" chocolate pudding though.
