What makes you scream, "WTF?"

Its just been one of those days (make that months......yeah I'm a dang whiner). I hope I am not the only one who has them. Feel free to post what makes you throw your hands in the air, and scream, "WTF?"
Here are mine:

1. Standing in line at the grocery store with two things in your hands. LONG..........dang line.
The powers that be open up another register and the newest visitor to checkout with 396 items jumps to the front of the line in front of you.
Ya just gotta think, WTF?

2. You use your "super-brush" with the long handle to hose down the bathroom, Ya know .......the one you use to wash your truck with. The next day your man decides to TRIM HIS FREAKING BEARD.
Ya gotta think, WTF?

3. You toss up a finger (NOT THE FINGER) when passing another motorist and they don't toss one back. Probably on a GD cell phone, I'm thinking HOW AWARE IS THAT??????
Ya gotta think, WTF?

4. Folks that dont SMILE back.
Ya gotta think, WTF?

5. The drive-thru window that dont include salt, pepper, catsup.......or at the very least , ASK YOU.
Ya gotta think, WTF?

6. People without the brass to offer a helping hand when they have the capacity to.

Hey Heds, this is funny! Ok, here are my comments and.....

1. Try asking that person w/ the 396 items about how they use each and every one of them, as they are geting scanned. They will wish the let you go 1st. Hey that coulda been me, cause I only stop shopping when my basket gets full, except I always let folks with only a few items get ahead of me in the line.

2. Hmm, would you rather your man let his beard grow down to his waist?

3. Be carefull doing that! Folks get shot here in Texas. But, like in England, I think talking on a non hands free cell should be against the law.

4. Don't smile back... maybe they are having one of those days???

5. I don't give em a chance to ask!! And I check to make sure I got pleanty of what I wanted before I drive off. And usually it's not.

6. Folks who won't help, man.... I'm stumped on this one. WTF????!!!!

1. Once they "break in line" I aint got nuthin to say.
There is nuthin worse than payin for a full buggy of food, exceptin when you gotta get GAS on the way home. Thanks for letting me in the front of the line. I rarely get a buggy......I figger iffen I caint carry it, I caint pay fer it.

2. I had rather him give me a "heads up" when he is gonna make a dang mess. A litle communication would be nice. :)

5. You're dealing with people who work in a fast food joint. Exactly what level of forward thinking do you expect?
6. I'm all for those people who refuse to help. They're the ones who make me look like a great guy all the time. . . when actually I'm just your average pri@%, who only helps others for ego boosting praise I receive when I do.

But seriously, some bozo drove his truck out into my hay field the other day to go fishing in the creek. We're about two or three weeks away from harvest.
I had to look and say "WTF!!!!!!" I stuffed the 357 in my belt and took a walk in his direction. Turns out, he works in a fast food joint. I told him to park on the road.

I had several WTFs today trying to figure out my management at work and the idiotic things they do. I wrote two emails to my boss and boss's boss questioning things, so it will probably be icy tomorrow.

I worked on an air natl. guard base that built a MULTI million $$$ state _o' the art aircraft hangar, a new dining facility with all the bells & whistles, and Direct Digital Controls basewide. Then, 2 years later, they decide to close the base!

Now THAT is a WTF??

I'm with you on the standing in line and having the person there for the least time run over to the new register. At that point I request a manager and ask them why their people are not properly trained to ask the second and third persons to follow them to the new register. I then hand them my couple of items and leave. Another WTF is why do they always put the slowest cashier on the express lines?

Did it Sunday. The scenario: Standing at the head of a two-person line at Peet's with a very dry mouth craving some iced tea. The "Barista" finishes making somebody a fancy coffee, comes back to the counter and looks the SECOND person in line (behind me) in the eye and says, "What would you like?" I couldn't help myself. I just said, "Excuse me, am I invisible or what?" The response was something like, "Oh, were you waiting?" I felt like saying, "No, I've just decided this is the best spot in town to meditate" but I said something like yes and after a bit a verybal fumbling was asked for my order (meanwhile the person BEHIND ME IN LINE, whom I actually blame for much of the problem because she did not speak up and point out that I was the next customer, hurrumphed).

People in those wheelchair things will mow you down to get there first (Oh **** did i offend someone, I'm on a walker since hitting the deer and am often ran over by the "Rascal" gang......so bite yer tongue). The express lane cashiers are an enigma, where do they come from? What is their purpose? Do they have an agenda?
I try and wreck the self serve checkout every chance I get. The "special attention" after you succeed in confounding the register/computer is heart-warming, try it sometime. They baby the heck out of ya.

To answer the Hillbilly's post, I work at a Federal government agency. That means who works for whom has nothing to do with intelligence. In fact, lack of intelligence can be a career enhancing attribute.

By the way, I also have a business (hence my handle), so I make more money than they do anyway. So there.

* Finding money in my pocket that I didn't know I had.

* Watching my dog roll around on the tundra with pure, unadulterated joy.
* Reading a really good book and then passing it along to someone else who will love it too.
* Making up a recipe from scratch and having it turn out deliciously.
