We went to Costco earlier today and I have never seen them soooooooo  packed!
People were buying carts full of beer and their frozen pizzas by the boatload!
One guy had two cars filled to the brim........  one was full of beer and the other had 20 pizzas in it!
We went to buy a TV so no food was purchased!  We will order Papa Johns tomorrow for the big game!

Greg, you don't like Costco pizza?

We bought that 60" Vizio and the picture is awesome.  But why do they put the speakers in the bottom?  It doesn't project forward into the room.

I do like Costco pizza but the line to buy them was a mile long and for some reason the frozen ones just dont compare with the ready made hot ones they offer!
As to the speakers....... our 50" Vizio also had the speakers on the bottom but they were in front........on the new one they are located in the rear!  We were going to buy a sound bar to add to the set but the sound is SO good as is that we decided we didnt need one!
This is the Vizio we bought................
http://www.costco.com/VIZ...product.100008906.html

The price couldnt be beat anywhere and considering that we paid $1000.00 over 6 years ago for the 50" I think we got a hell of a deal!!
It has a couple of minor drawbacks but they are easily overlooked!  The main thing I dont like is the remote......  the keys are tiny, tiny!
I want to get a a receiver box so I can take advantage of the Netflix application it has so we can watch movies!

Very simple. Cosmetically, it allows the "frame" around the picture to look the same. It also allows the frame to be thinner, also a cosmetic thing. Plus, then you want to buy a surround sound system cuz the TV sound sucks!

Veal meatloaf (healthy and low fat) topped with bacon (yummy and not so low fat) with roasted acorn squash.

In a proper bowl, even!

I had a 20 ounce, bone in ribeye.  Five ounces of bone, 5 ounces of fat and 10 ounces of delicious pink meat along with a baked potato.

We couldn't get out of the driveway.  Soup sounded reasonable.  But a 20 ounce ribeye sounds a lot better!

Hey, I didn't have any trouble at all getting out of the driveway this morning to go to breakfast. I did have enough trouble getting back into the driveway that I needed help from two neighbors to make it.

Ooooh, that Boulette looks most inviting.

It is one of the stinkiest cheeses on the planet but the taste is divine.  We just finished a piece of Maroilles which is the second stinkiest cheese on the planet!

Trying to cut down on my pasta intake, so tonight I'm going to make "spaghetti" with spaghetti squash instead of regular pasta. Going to roast it, scrape it out, season it, and into a casserole dish topped with marinara and mozzarella and baked. Can't wait to try it out.

I've never had a stinky cheese.  I can't see buying an entire piece to try it.  One of these days I'll be served one.

I've never made a potato kugel.  I should try some day.  Potatoes are cheap enough in case I need to toss it.

Sneaky trick: Manischewitz makes a packaged latke mix that you can use to make potato kugel.

Your dish looks great......I love catfish.  In the summer it's good with fried green tomatoes and cheesy bacon grits.  In the winter I make confetti rice and cole slaw.
You've never had stinky cheese and I've never had kugel!

But bad news----you can't be a Southern Jew. Catfish are not kosher because they lack scales.
