Well, you've now covered all the bases---B, L and D. I generally only eat 2 meals a day. Breakfast and Dinner or Breakfast and a mid-afternoon lunch. Usually a simple sandwich.

Lunch, 99% of the time, is my first meal of the day. And probably 85% of the time it is leftovers from dinner. Today, for instance, I had the last of the corned beef boiled dinner before the rest of it went in the freezer.

My usual weekday lunch today... spinach salad and a can of soup, Campbell's Vegetarian Vegetable this time. I really wanted a hot pastrami on rye, but I ate so much crap over the long weekend I figured I'd give my digestive tract a break.

My lunch was a turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mayonnaise and black pepper sandwich on white bread, and a glass of milk.

I guess a lot of us have a "Brunch" and only 2 main meals a day... Sometimes my "to do" list comes before food, and I try to get my day going and eat later... But if I had a light or early dinner the night before I'll want a breakfast...cereal is a qiuck fix for this, but if I'm on a schedule I fly out the door and decide on what form breakfast will take as I drive into town... I've heard the opinion of some that advocate eating 5 or 6 meals a day, with smaller portions, is a healthier way to go, and I can see that having a benifit IF it's not junk food...

That does actually work. My problem is if I even look at food less than two hours after I get up it's not a pretty ending. I panicked a guy I was dating once because he made me breakfast in bed and I had to make a run for it. Apparently he thought I had morning sickness! Which I kinda do...except it's been that way for at least 20 years.

I don't think getting "pickled" counts as a daily vegetable... And my 2nd meal today technically is lunch, but it's gonna taste a lot like dinner...!!! (it's after 7:oo PM my local time)...

Broke down and got a big hot pastrami on rye for lunch today, with some kettle chips and a Dr. Pepper. I'd be taking a nap right now if I weren't at work.

Today I made myself a breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg and cheese on a toasted onion bagel), and had some blackberry yogurt.

Today was a rediscovery: Pepe's Restaurant in Santa Rosa... 3 taco's carne asada... They moved 2 years ago., but I didn't know where...it turns out they're about 1 block east of where they used to be, on Sebastopol Ave... I used to eat there a lot when I was an egg rancher in Sonoma County many years ago...lots of Campesino's ate there, so you know it was authentico...

Catering for lunch, as I'm at work. I opted out of the fajita bar and chose the salad bar and panini bar with a cup of roasted corn chowder instead. Hopefully dinner is better...which is usually how it works. If lunch sucks, dinner is typically pretty darn good.

I split a Pizza Pit pizza (sausage, black olives, fresh mushrooms, canned mushrooms) with a coworker. It's no Glass Nickel or Roman Candle but for a chain pizza it's pretty decent and does have a fairly unique taste.
