You're quite welcome, Lisa.

It was another Yakisoba night for me but this time I didn't add any protein to the mix.

Don't forget everyone.......today is National Corned Beef Hash Day.  But tomorrow is even better.......DRINK BEER DAY!!!
I'm not too fond of pancakes but those look really good l2b!

Thanks!  If I remember correctly, you're not much into sweets, either (although I've observed a few pies).  And what's up with plates?  I've posted pics of stuff in styrofoam, for Pete's sake... " />

You're right, I'm not too much into sweets.  But no thanks to that fellow Roadfooder buffetbuster I've been more and more interested in pies.
What's up with the plates is this:  I posted this picture and mar commented that the plate looked upside down.  And it really does.  Therefore, I bought new plates!

Cool weather means it's time for squash. I like dry cooking the butternut squash on the bbq. When I cook it in the bbq it takes out the moisture much better than in the oven.

Mashed potatoes, butternut squash and Salisbury steaks with sauteed mushrooms.

I thought you were cooking Yeti feet!

Think I'll made omelets tonight.  Feels like I'm eating more when the eggs are in omelet form as opposed to fried.

Definitely one of the best things about autumn is the return of squash!  We've already had acorn once and there's another in the fridge.  Next it will be butternut.  Then roasted butternut squash soup with Grand Marnier!  Your meal looks wonderful!!!

Hmm. How 'bout some butternut squash ravioli with a brown butter and sage sauce?

I ordered 1/2 bushel fresh Hatch chiles today.  I figured I could now use my stash in ways other than green chile cheeseburgers.  So I made a pork and Hatch chile stew.

Lisa, that is a thing of beauty!

I got sick when I made my Hatch omelet.  I should try again as I have a couple pounds in the freezer.

By the way, your car looks upside down.

But the stew is red. Am I missing something here?
