Tonight I actually got to cook again! Chicken, a bunch of vegetables, some ginger and Maggi seasoning. Skipped the rice to save on carbs, and it was pretty darn tasty!

Last night I did glazed salmon, sauteed spinach with garlic and lemon, and a tossed salad (raspberry-walnut vinaigrette). And now no more cooking until at least Monday, which will hopefully be my next day off.

What type of glaze, Felix?
I brined some chicken pieces today, then just baked it. Made homemade stuffing( baked in a covered pan.) Green beans and yukon gold potatoes rounded out the meal. Oh, and gravy, of course. Perfect meal for a rainy day.

Ann, it was a mistake that worked out well! 1 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon honey, and 1 teaspoon chili powder. I had already mixed the balsamic and honey before I noticed I had not, in fact, grabbed the soy sauce I meant to use.

Yeah... As if I ever pulled a trigger.  With my left hand!

Woke up one night in March with horrible clicking in my thumb.  Amazing how much a thumb can hurt.  The tendon was inflamed and not sliding through the sheath.  It would pop when it did.

Texas got in the way and my thumb locked in a closed position.   Then a month for a doctor's visit and another month for the surgery he said I needed.  Today was the day.

I did weird things to the Ramen.  I added crushed red pepper, peanut butter and then honey.  A bit strange, but it was dinner.

Costco roast chicken, baked butternut squash, caesar salad, homemade razor clam chowder & homemade cranberry sauce.
Last night was roast duck breast with crispy skin & crab fried rice.

Yesterday I stopped in at the local food co-op for milk and wound up buying a little extra for dinner tonight.  Two hefty portobello caps, one "stuffed" with pesto and the other with a black olive tapenade.  Grated cow's-milk (an assumption based on the label) romano cheese on top and after they're well-heated on the grill maybe a little grated mozzarella melted in.

It's razor clam season now, we have a seven day dig starting tomorrow. It's only an 18hr drive.

Sounds good, Brad. Tonight was au gratin potatoes. A huge pan of it as I am feeding 3 adult men that eat like horses..salad and corn as well. The only leftovers are, well, salad and corn...

I was working, but managed to slip out and grab a couple of slices at http://georgiosgourmetpizza.com/. Unfortunately, I was so hungry I was halfway through my BBQ Chicken & Bacon before I thought to take a picture, but the Hawaiian is whole. They have different price levels depending on what you pick... these two with a bottomless soda cost me $9.00.

7am to 12am without a break means they ordered food for us and we ate at our computers. Tonight we chose http://www.xoasiancuisine.com/. I got the walnut shrimp (but they forgot the cream sauce) and some crab rangoon.

I've never had walnut shrimp but those look pretty good.

2 racks of back ribs on the grill right now and cornbread to go on after a bit.

Felix, don't you hate that?

I've had take-out cashew chicken where they forgot the cashews.

Tonight's dinner was 2 Tito's Tacos...  no cheese.

I finally had a day off, so I was under the impression I was going to cook. HA! I pulled some spinach and feta pie out of the freezer and heated up some frozen vegetables and called it a day.

Tonight it was just a simple dish of fettuccine with butter, Parmigiano Reggiano and black pepper.
