Well, Lisa...  If you want the Shish*tos I'll get you some.

Thanks!  I was thinking of going to our big specialty store, Market District, today but it's pouring rain.  I think I'll go tomorrow to get halibut and I'll look for the (I'm spelling it out all the way) Shi****os there.  I'll let you know if I can't find them!

HA!  It got edited!  Crazy.

Lisa, when the rain lets up here's a place where you could have some fun:

I used to take my mother on world tours.  We'd go to a different ethnic market in different cities every now and then.  She loved it and it was fun.

I am too tired to cook-so I ordered a pizza for Bob, and I am having a chicago style beef sandwich twice dipped. Yum.

I'm working, but for a cheap show that wouldn't pay for catering. So, around the corner I went to http://georgiosgourmetpizza.com/. The bonus was I'd filled my frequent flyer card last time, so I got a piece free this time.

Tonight was Chicken taco night.  This time I used Pace medium spicy red salsa which had absolutely no spice at all.  But it was tasty.

Sounds good. We had what was left of last night's Tarte Alscacienne and a salad. I tied to get lleechef to agree to make this at least once a week, but she balked.

I wanted some BBQ ribs, but I got out of work too late. So I thought I would hit the Mexican drive-thru place, but they were closed as well. So I came home and made two of those tiny Totino's frozen "pizzas", with added mozzarella cheese. This will be my life for the next couple of weeks until I get a day off again.

Felix, when I do Totino's I add sliced olives, fresh onions, a little olive oil and red pepper flakes.  Sometimes I add granulated garlic.  Makes it a bit better.

Right now I'd eat it right from the freezer!

Normally I add more stuff, too, but it was midnight and I hadn't eaten since 1:00. The only reason they got extra cheese is the bag was open and I had to wait for the oven to preheat.

Don't have a choice on working so much... since we don't have guaranteed or even regular hours, we've got to work when it's available to bank against when it's not. This 16-day straight stretch was preceded by 10 days off, so it works out. I planned ahead today, though! I've got country-style pork ribs in homemade BBQ sauce in the crock pot, there's a bag salad in the fridge, and I'm making cornbread muffins before I go in. Dinner may still be at midnight, but it'll be tasty!

Aha!  Now I understand.

For dinner tonight I had some sort of Tepanade topped Chicken Gik along with Bok Choy, carrots and a radish.

Tempura shrimp (we had dipping sauces on the side), shish*tso peppers and stir-fried baby bok choy.

I didn't make the muffins, instead I made chocolate chip cookies to take to work. Also, my mother ate the bag salad, but luckily I still had some deli coleslaw in the fridge. Dinner at midnight is better when you plan ahead!

felix,
I used to eat dinner at 1 or 2AM when I got home from the restaurant!  I would bring home a piece of fish that I would pan-fry or broil, depending on what it was and a green salad.  Every night for years.

mar,
Those peppers are awesome!!!!!

Totino's Party Pizzas are one of my favorite guilty pleasures.  Yeah, they're everything you'd expect from a $1.50 frozen pizza but sometimes they're just right!

Tapenade is great stuff but that's 1 radish too many.  This meal also sounds excessively healthy; Dr. Chicken recommends you make yourself a Jucy Lucy immediately!
