It'd be better than what we're ending up with tonight! I was going to serve the rest of the cheesy bacon chicken along with some sauteed turnip greens and the rest of the broccoli-lemon salad. My mother decided we should each get a 6-inch sub from Subway along with a small bag of chips. *sigh*

I really want tacos-but you are right, Mar. Pretty not yours. Special diet? Did I miss something?

Nutrisystem diet.  Disgusting foods but I've been doctoring it up with allowable "free" items and it's not half bad.

Down 7 pounds and 15 more to go!

We had my white pasta fagiole recipe tonight and crusty Italian bread to go with it. It makes me feel like I'm back in Venice at the Teatro restaurant where their chef shared that recipe with me!!!

GO MAR, GO!!!!

Thanks, Lisa!  I plan on it.  Not the easiest thing to do when you love food but I'm determined.

I found these freeze dried fruit (expensive) things at the Japanese market that are wonderful.  I also add Edemame  and Shi****os to a lot of the things I cook now.  I'm suppose to eat more vegetables.

I miss bread but my low fat tortillas seem to take away the bread urge.

Can you see the Nutrisystem chicken hiding in this?

Where's Waldo (chicken)?  But I do see a whole lot of stuff I love......those peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes........better than my left-over pasta, but the salad was good.

It was pretty good but that nasty chicken's flavor came through, even with the addition of sambal.

I'd better take a Zantac NOW!

Good for you, Mar! I am always struggling with my weight issues-lost a bunch last fall, gained some back.

I got my way tonight, which is good since I'm picking up a ton of hours this weekend to help make up for the 40+ I lost this week being sick. I may have time to cook again Monday, but until then we are chock full of leftovers.

Honey and soy glazed salmon, peanut-sesame rice noodles, and the last of the broccoli-lemon salad.

That looks wonderful to me!  I love salmon, I love rice noodles and peanut-sesame sauce makes them even better.

I now have a cold.  I thank my Brother for bringing it to me from Germany.  If I hadn't of picked him up at the airport I'd be fine.  He owes me!

Some sort of Taco will be had tonight.  I just don't feel like walking down the stairs or walking back up or walking.
