Uh... didn't even know there was one, or when it might be.  Although I have to be honest, with me finally being back to work full time and not having a car, odds are really slim I'll be able to make it. But just in case... when is it? I would LOVE to go to a crawl!

Oh yeah, dinner tonight. I made a potato and bacon frittata, and then while it was resting realized I had nothing else so I opened a can of early June peas and stuck them in the microwave.

Huh...that far in advance, it's conceivable I could make that happen! I'll put it on my calendar and see what I can get going.

You could always rent a car for the weekend.  Doesn't take all that long to drive from Grand Rapids to Pgh.  I used to do it all the time from Traverse City.  You would love the Burgh!

Unfortunately, I am also without a license. Although by spring that may change!

Sometimes my mother gives me a ride, sometimes I Uber, sometimes I taxi, sometimes a friend gives me a ride. Public transportation sucks here or I'd do that. But it's one of the reasons I end up eating pop tarts so often...depending on where I'm working, there may not be food within walking distance or that delivers.

I'm going to have some sushi tonight.  Hamachi, burdock root and pickled daikon.

I had the weekend off, so I ran away from home. Tonight's dinner was Five Guys burgers and fries, which we made my niece's husband go fetch while we watched the Packers game on the DVR. Because we could.

Despite the return of high temperatures, I cooked. Chicken thighs stuffed with a mixture of feta, cream cheese, basil, chives, and tomato, then rolled and wrapped with bacon and baked. Served with some summer squash and my last Vidalia onion sauteed with bacon. I've got some blueberry cream cheese bars in the fridge for dessert later, but I haven't gotten pictures of them yet.

Edited to add the blueberry bars.

I'm getting ready to move from one part of town to the other, so even though it's 90 here, I am going to eat the rest of the bean soup I made and froze a few months ago.

The great news is that my new place is just a studio (Charlottesville rent is $$$) but the kitchen part is huge. I am sharing a kitchen right now and my upstairs roommate, who also owns the place, is bad at keeping things clean. It's a food hoarding situation and I'm glad to have a nice clean fridge and countertop to myself! Yay!

I was going to flag your post as "spam" because you did it to me, but I changed my mind.
