Mozilla and Opera are other browsers that work well on OSX. BT check out : http://www.opendoor.com for some insight. Part of Ashland's computer scene.

I have messed with a couple of alternate resolution sizes, but the svga seems to best suit what I can read clearly and fill the screen. We moved up in the Apple progression during the 90's in the school system where I worked. They were ok, but I found Win95 to be more comfortable for me. To each his Own. We all have our Bias's. I won't buy a G M product. No real reason not to... I just won't. That's about as rational as the MAC-PC debate in my book. So whatever works for you is fine...At least it's not a green screen anymore!! PONG, anyone??

quote:Originally posted by BT Indeed. But now I have a question for you "Slaves of Bill". Cannot one alter one's screen resolution status (within limits established by one's video card, monitor, etc) in WinDoz as one can, quite easily, with a Mac? Normally, I use 1152 x 870 making me, I suppose, >XGA, but as my eyes dim with age I can choose to lower the resolution making everything on the screen bigger (but the portion of the page visible without scrolling less). Surely you can do the same with the products of the Evil Empire (of which I am, I admit, a stockholder patiently awaiting my $3 a share). No? Yes, on my computer (with Windows) it is possible for me to go from 640 x 480 all the way up to 1600 x 1200 by moving the arrow just above the numbers, and it does change the size of everything on the screen. For my eyesight, I happen to prefer the size of things at 800 x 600.
