I have a new love for biscuits.

Aww Teddy!

I was telling Willy to keep running until the snow was gone...

Good idea! Willy is so cute!  We don't have a fenced in backyard so we have a long lead for Teddy so he can have the run of our small back yard. He loves to go out and usually asks to a few times during the day. Today he has asked and when I open the door and  the look on his face is, oh yeah, that's right, there's too much snow!! He actually loves snow but I guess not when it's over his head!!" />

I guess this was closer to Breakfast than anything else.

The thing I like about the frozen Grands biscuit is that I can take one and make one...

The bag says DO NOT EAT RAW DOUGH. OK.

The first biscuit was for a sandwich. It was made in convection mode. it was a very perky biscuit. Today the biscuit was going to be covered in roast beef & brown gravy. It was made in bake mode. It was more of a New Jersey biscuit vs. a Southern biscuit. It was a scrappy little biscuit...that stood-up to the roast beef & gravy.

That looks good.

I tried bagels in the new Breville Toaster Oven.

#4 is too long!

Had a thin schmeer of chocolate cream cheese (sample size container) on a very dark cinnamon raisin bagel.

Yesterday was National Sticky Bun Day.  This one was non-traditional but I didn't care.

My Birthday is National Rocky Road Day. I have to think of a creative way to enjoy it. It won't be Rocky Road ice cream. Eh.

That's great, CC!  So now I know your birthday.   According to what I read, Rocky Road ice cream was invented by William Dreyer in 1929.  Anyway, I'm sure there are many other ways to enjoy the Rocky Road ingredients!

National Sticky Bun Day was my birthday.

Celebrate your birthday by sending me all the Dreyer's Rocky Road Ice Cream.

I used to keep them in business.

I thought it was just the ice cubes making that noise...

I think those biscuits multiply in the freezer...overnight.

Today my daughter Emily and I went to our favorite diner for breakfast before food shopping. She had a grilled cheese with a side of bacon and I had a cheeseburger with a side of fries. Maybe we'll have breakfast for dinner!

When I open a can of Corned beef hash, I always have to check to make sure its not dog food. I wish I had home made, but, this is good in a pinch. The only requirement for me is  a crispy outside to the Hash......A good breakfast to me is CB Hash, either eggs over easy, or Poached eggs, crispy hash with ketchup and white toast.

... and the only canned corned beef hash for me is Mary Kitchen. I like it crispy on the outside and topped with a couple of poached eggs. And you can't have corned beef hash and eggs without catsup. (I believe it is against the law to omit the catsup.)

TIP: If you don't feel like bothering about poaching eggs, when your hash is crispy on one side, turn it over, make a couple of indentations in the hash and drop an egg into each indentation. Then cover the skillet and let the eggs cook in the hash.

Belgium waffles, real butter syrup, Benton's bacon, fresh squeezed navel orange juice and some JFG coffee.
Time for a nap now.

At the diner again with my daughter. I had a cheese burger sans fries and she had a grilled cheese with a side of chicken fingers. I love that the wait staff doesn't even react to an order like that at 8am!

I'm now into Thomas's Bagel Thins for breakfast. Went through a pack off the cinnamon raisin one week, now just whole wheat. I usually only eat half of one.

I haven't had one in some time but I enjoy Thomas' Toast R Cakes.

They used to have Blueberry but now I think it's just Corn Toast R Cakes.
