Where to eat in Roanoke, SW VA on & NE TN on 81

Headed back home to Knoxville with a bit more time than usual to relax on the drive down. I will be hitting Roanoke later..around 9pm and will need a fix of southern cafe or BBQ.
Next day will stop for lunch near Abingdon or the Tri Cities (Bristol VA/TN, Kingsport, TN and Johnson City, TN) and will again need pork and sauce to make it back home to Knoxville and dive into Harolds and Calhouns.
