The Ancient Mariner was "The" guy to hire for kitchens and custom cabinetry on Long Island. Besides the quality work, you knew you were dealing with a quality person who was honest and just plain fun to be with. When realtors were selling a house, they would be sure to mention to the perspective buyer that the home had a "Kitchen by Kennedy".
When I mentioned to Bill that I was redoing my kitchen, he offered his help with the design, free of charge. No fancy computer drawings, he did it all by hand. All I had to do was take his drawings to my cabinet supplier and place the order. And I assure you, his design was light years ahead of the computer drafts I had already received.
When I handed Bill's design over, some of our email exchanges were mixed in with the drawings. Naturally the emails were filled with Bill's quick wit and words of wisdom. I went back to the cabinet supplier a couple weeks later and caught one of the girls using Bill's lines with her customers. I couldn't stop laughing.
So, Besides having a dear friend in St. Pete's, I can proudly say, I am the only person in NEPA with a Kitchen by Kennedy! He will probably want to kick my butt for posting this. I'll just have to stay outta St. Pete's for a while.
