While it's not directly related to this season, here's a neat story about how a former Jet got his Super Bowl ring back. Brad

I know the Colts are without Peyton Manning, but being home underdogs to the Browns? Now that is an insult!

The WHOLE colts team was built around Peyton Manning. It is certainly a case of keeping all your eggs in one basket. That basket got dropped and now they got egg all over their faces.

Out of all of the players in the NFL, I would submit that Peyton Manning is more valuable to his team than any other player in the NFL is to theirs. He's one of those few quarterbacks that takes average wide receivers and makes them look really good, such as Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon. Other QB's that have had that ability that come to mind are Brett Favre and John Elway. Probably have to put Brady in that group as well, and I'm sure there's more.

While the Lions comeback against the Vikes was pretty good, the Bills comeback against the Pats was even more impressive.

The 'Skins have managed to stumble back into first place in the NFC East - with an awful loss to Dallas, and equally poor showings against St. Louis - but a win. Thank goodness for the Redskin defense - keeping games tight even when the offense implodes. Two weeks to prepare for Philly - if Vick is out, I feel better. But I'm still nervous. Travelling to Buffalo (where they seem to win no matter how far they fall behind), an improved SF team -although at home. Jets, New England and travel to Giants still left. IF the 'Skins offense can be more consistent, we're good. But games like the past two weeks, ugh! Someone said Grossman was inconsistent - he can shine or break your heart. I'd rather skip the heart break. Can anyone tell me why the Skins are playing the entire AFC East? If they were to win all four, will the Skins have the option to play in the AFC playoffs?

Is this season making sense to anyone? One week a team looks like a contender & then the next week they look like a pretender.

Even though they're still 7-5 and a wild card team if the season ended today, the Bears are in deep trouble without Jay Cutler and totally dead in the water if Matt Forte's knee injury turns out to be serious. Today's loss to Kansas City was brutally ugly (no other way to describe it) and I won't be at all surprised if the GM gives Donovan McNabb a call tomorrow if he hasn't already. Brad

Giants came close to knocking off the Pack, but left Rogers with a little too much time on the clock.

Well, Tebow has NOTHING to do with the Denver Donkeys-er, I mean Denver Broncos, winning-they are winning in Spite of him.

Being a Giants fan from the Phil Simms era, and a fan of all the Manning family, I was hard pressed to divide my loyalties yesterday. Having two of my kids firmly in the grip of " Packer-Mania" up in the Great White North makes cheering for Green Bay a family obligation (which I also enjoy). That was one of he best games I have seen in years.

I stand by my statement. Defense is doing well, has nothing to do with Tebow. Denver has an offense, that ,as I said, is out playing their quarterback.

Tebow is a class act. I sorta hope he has the opportunity to leave Denver and go somewhere that is appreciative. He was that way when he was in Florida. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

Are we talking quarterback qualities or personal triumphs? I respect everyone for their stellar personalities and their stand up views. I was talking sports. He definately deserves to go somewhere else where he can shine.
