Does anyone have the recipe for White Castle Fish/Chicken/ChickenRings? Also does anyone have the recipe for their mustard they serve? One more question if they are going in with Churches Chicken does that mean they will go outside their current market? Thanks, Debbie

That's, that's, well, different...I'm not sure if I'd want to know how they do that or not.

I have checked every copy-cat and secret recipe site that I know of, and none of them have any recipes for White Castle except for their burgers. I suspect that their chicken sandwiches and rings are made of breaded ground chicken (like a chicken fritter), but beyond that I have no idea. If you are going to get a recipe, you will probably have to find someone who worked (or works) at White Castle, preferably in management. As far as Church's Chicken is concerned, they are owned by AFC Enterprises, who also own Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits and Cinnabon. There is no mention on either Church's or AFC's website of any possible connection with White Castle and vice-versa, but that is really no indication that one can't exist. There is also a possibility that a person or company holding both companies' franchises in a given location is attempting to combine their two franchises to get additional business. Sorry I can't be of more help.

In the NYC area all the White Castles have merged with Church's Fried Chicken in the mid to late 90's. I was somewhat disappointed cause we use to have Church's Fried in NY back in the late 70's and early 80's. But there were alot of bad rumors spreading on how they were owned by the KKK back then. And what made it worst is that you only seen them in Black and Hispanic neighborhoods. Eventually they all shut down. But then they resurfaced in the NY area in the mid 90's and merged in all the White Castle franchises all over NY.

Actually, there's not been any merger of White Castle and Church's. What they've done is start co-branding. Co-branding puts different operations under the same roof. There are a number of different co-branding operations around the country. For instance, Wendy's co-brands with Tim Horton's (and did before it took over Tim Horton's). Nathans offers itself as a co-brand operation.
