I must be one of the few that like Bobby Flay. They did a bio on him a while back and it was very interesting. He had very humble beginings and I guess that coupled with his success gives him somewhat of an ego.But he's still good. Can't spell her name but the Italian woman with the cleavage interests me. Ming Tsi was goo before he left. I've about had Emeril up to here along with the Emeril live band. Geez put a sock in it. If I see Rachel mug on one more magazine at the grocery checkout I will puke. Guy Fieri and Mario Batali are also two of my faves.

OK, not a chef but she is "the voice". The show inspired me to watch cooking programs in the early 80's. She is Mary Lou Conroy, from the Great Chefs Series. She also was an on-air "sidekick" for a show called The Pizza Gourmet. I loved that show. I wish it had a longer run.

Mayor Al, Cajun King, pmrkr, russ, et.al., (and the name for Andrea);

I used to love watching Justin Wilson on Saturday mornings when I lived in Houston. The only problem I had with his show was that it made me hungry! I had to be sure I had my long run in for the day, or I'd be pigging out and never making it out the door.

Loved the Grahman Kerr shows too. Much more entertaining than the preaching style of Jeff Smith, the Frugal Gourmet. Julia Childs was a hoot. And so were the Romanovs (?) on PBS in the 70s. Mr Romanov, was a bit more tipsy and funnier at the show's end than Sandra Lee on FN.

There's a guy on the Spanish language channel that's pretty good. I watch what he makes and could probably duplicate it but I have no idea what he's saying. I've also seen some of the English speaking chefs on Spanish channels with voice dub overs!

They may not be on TV, but The Grandsons of Italy are the best.

I don't know if Andrew Zimmern qualifies as a chef. He mostly just eats. But I really am addicted to "Bizarre Foods." He is respectful of his hosts and isn't an egomaniac. I liked his Halloween Party, where he had viewers sample tarantulas, cockroaches, drink cow's blood. BTW, he's running a contest on the Travel Channel site for a viewer to accompany him. You have to submit a video, though, and I'm a lot better at essays.

The Show is called Pressure Cook with Ralph Pagano. I am not sure what station it is on but I watch it at Fancast.com . Interresting show where he gets dropped off in a country and has to earn his plane fare back to the USA. Meets people along the way and learns local cooking styles and techniques...Russ

I like Guy Fieri. Diners,Drive-ins and Dives is the best Road Food show out there.

I'm also old school. Growing up it was always The French Chef, Julia Child. She was amazing.
