Who is your insurance company?

I've been using State Farm. It appears they are phasing out food concession insurance. Who is everyone else using? Thanks

I have Mercury and I know Progressive also has commercial programs geared towards food trucks.  I'd be happy to check out ANYONE but them.  Just saying.  Allstate actually has really good rates here in South Florida too

FLIP Program $300. Same GL policy that I was paying a lot for, even my agent said it was a good program.

My one venture into owning a restaurant was franchised fast food.

I learned many expensive lessons (an MBA from Harvard would have cost less, but then again I would have learned less!).

Among them was to competitively bid insurance.  A 'country club buddy' sold me my first umbrella/liability/comprehensive policy for $12,000/year.  Two years later I foud out 'the hard way' that it didn't cover employee theft after a manager had walked off with $17,000.  At that point, I put the policy out to bid and got better coverage that included employee theft for $2,800/year.

On reflection I realized that my 'buddy' had stolen more money from me than the manager!

Lesson:  More money is stolen with pens than guns.

Thanks for the FLIP recommendation. I was going to make the same mistake as others here and just go with the company that current insures my car and home.
